At Ballet des Amériques, students have the opportunity to perform several times a year in a professional production environment. Great care is taken to ensure that rehearsals do not cut into class time. Rather, rehearsals and performances are part of the curriculum of study, opportunities to grow and learn.

It is recognized that students are not - and should not pretend to be - professional dancers and therefore, with respect to the art and history of ballet, their roles in performances must be appropriate to their level and age. This is the reason why all our performances involve both classical repertory and original choreography by director and choreographer Carole Alexis, specifically created for our students.

The conservatory usually has two or three productions per year, each of which may involve multiple performances.
